The job fairs in Berlin were also well attended this year. Many young people were there in groups or with their families and gathered information at the various booths. nexnet, as a Berlin-based company, was also represented at the trade fairs.
Mariam (among other things, involved in employer branding at nexnet) says: “The fairs themselves are very diverse and inspiring. The young people were able to get information and make plans for the future. And they didn’t leave empty-handed, but with great giveaways and flyers.”
Impressions of Einstieg Berlin
The Einstieg Berlin attracted on 18. and November 19 many students into their halls. At the popular job fair, nexnet was represented by team leads, colleagues and trainees. At our booth, we reported on the various offers for trainees and students, such as IT specialist for system integration or a dual study program in business informatics.
During the talks, the fair participants were not only able to ask us about the training opportunities, but also to contact our trainees directly and gain insights into their everyday lives.
Impressions of Dream Job Berlin
On December 7, the Traumberuf IT took place at the STATION in Berlin and nexnet was there. Also this year, in addition to the trainers, some trainees from nexnet were present at our booth. There were exciting conversations with interested young people, who were also able to ask the nexnet trainees some questions.
For young people in particular, Traumberuf IT, one of Germany’s largest series of trade fairs for choosing studies and training in the future-oriented fields of STEM (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences, technology) and media, is an important place to go to find out about the job market and future training positions.
Conclusion
The trade shows were again great events for our team. And certainly, after the interesting discussions, we were able to give one or the other trade fair participant a glimpse into the future.
Kevin B. (trainee at nexnet) says: “The fair was well attended, also by international guests. I also talked to interested people in English on many occasions. And I liked the relaxed atmosphere at the booth.”
And Sebastian M. (trainee of nexnet) says: “It was a well organized fair which was visited especially by many teachers with their classes. Of course, many also came to our booth to pick up the goodies.”
We will be there again next year.
