Cologne-based telecommunications provider congstar offers prepaid and postpaid mobile communications products as well as DSL and VDSL complete lines. Since its market launch in 2007, congstar has owed its success to the combination of outstanding D-network quality, low prices, and flexible contract terms. More than 4.5 million customers now benefit from this.

Since 2010, nexnet has been working as a subscription billing specialist for congstar. Responsibilities include rating & billing of all basic charges, all communication and IP connections, and all purchases in the congstar online stores. The accounts receivable and receivables management of congstar GmbH, as well as the commercial dunning process for postal and prepaid customers, is also handled by nexnet.

nexnet provides congstar with detailed reporting for all processes so that numerous analyses and evaluations can be carried out.

Since nexnet took over subscription billing and accounts receivable management, numerous enhancements have been made to the system and interfaces. For example, the innovative rates “congstar wie ich will” (congstar as I want), where customers can configure their own individual rate using sliders, or the Fair Flat, where customers only have to pay for the data volume they actually use, are also mapped and billed via nexnet. nexnet operates its own data centers in Germany and meets all requirements of the DSGVO: Subscription Billing in BPO – Made in Germany!

This is a continuation of a joint success story; congstar was already a sponsor of FC St. Pauli from 2007 to 2009.
