nexnet takes stock of Internet World EXPO 2019

nexnet was successfully represented as an exhibitor at this year’s Internet World Expo in Munich and draws its trade fair conclusion.

After two days, it was clear to the subscription billing expert from Berlin that the trip to Munich had been worthwhile. With over 19,000 visits, there were another 1,000 visitors more than expected and even 2,000 more than last year. This was also felt on site at the nexnet booth.

“Subscription management is not just a popular topic in the US. The demand in Germany for intelligent solutions for long-term customer relationships is also enormous and growing by the day,” says Farid Langshausen, Senior Account Manager at nexnet, summing up his visit to Internet World EXPO. “Although we appeal to all store operators with our accounts receivable management and innovative payment clearing , demand for our subscription billing was particularly large,” adds Langshausen. This is understandable, since customer acquisition costs are rising immeasurably in the ever-increasing competition for new buyers. So it’s only logical that e-commerce merchants should start to use smart subscription models to bind customers to their own company. In return, the customer often receives a price discount or simply the certainty of being able to rely on regular deliveries in the future. In other words, it’s a win-win situation.

As a specialist for mass billing, handling large amounts of data is no problem for nexnet. This also applies to recurring billing, i.e. the management of recurring payments (subscriptions). Thanks to many years of experience, continuous further developments and an extremely resilient basis of SAP software, reliable customer management or correct invoicing are a matter of course. And the fact that security plays a major role with all this data is also demonstrated by the company’s own data centers, which are located exclusively in Germany and are therefore subject to the strict regulations of German data protection. Just one of the many requirements that the Berlin-based company fulfills for its many customers.
