Billing effort significantly reduced

In cooperation with BT Germany, nexnet has developed a solution for the transfer and control of traffic to be billed offline between different network operators. The joint transit and clearing platform acts as a central hub to coordinate the network and service operators involved.

nexnet creates a “2ndBill” (separate invoice) for the subscriber network operators (TNOs) so that they can drastically reduce their billing-related expenses and are relieved of complicated financial processes. nexnet provides customer service, receivables management and debt collection for the connected carrier network operators (carrier network operators). The contractual framework will also be significantly simplified: without the services of BT and nexnet, market participants would have to negotiate a large number of bilateral contracts. Another service provided by nexnet is the processing of settlement modalities and financial flows between market participants(financial clearing).

nexnet shall ensure that the invoicing and verification of supplied service data of the DSOs and of the invoicing charges of the DSOs is carried out properly. By checking performance data on a daily basis, identifying outstanding receivables, and making subsequent and partial payments, nexnet creates the conditions for smooth payment transactions between all participating network and service operators.
